Scott_6-8-14_280 Scott Beadenkopf, a member of the Instructional Technology Group at Drexel University, serves as Director, Academic Technology at Neumann University and Chair of Neumann’s E-Learning Committee. He is the on-site Support Coordinator for Neumann Online learning and teaches Online Course Facilitation and Design for instructors.

 SusanDarlington Susan Darlington is the Director of Online Learning and Satellite Campus Technology at Gwynedd Mercy University where she provides instructional technology leadership and support to faculty, particularly in the area of online learning where she continually searches for new technologies that will engage the online student.

Prior to working in academia, Susan spent over 20 years in the business environment as a computer programmer, business analyst and, most recently, as an Instructional Designer for Ellucian. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business from Immaculata University and her master’s degree in Instructional Systems from Penn State, where she also earned a Web Graphics Design certificate. She recently earned her M.B.A. from Gwynedd Mercy University and is certified as a Blackboard GUI Administrator.

 RodneyMurray-Headshot-2015-600x798 Dr. Rodney B. Murray, executive director of academic technology at the University of the Sciences, is charged with advancing educational technology at USciences. His goal is to provide the teaching and learning platforms and services that will move USciences forward in classroom learning, hybrid and distance education. His team is responsible for the learning management system, instructional design, classroom technology and technology training for faculty and staff.

Since 2006, Dr. Murray has promoted the latest e-learning technologies on his podcast at www.RodsPulsePodcast.com. His monthly e-learning technology podcast, The Pulse, can also be found on Inside Higher Ed at www.insidehighered.com/ThePulse.

He earned his Ph.D. in pharmacology from Temple University School of Medicine. Prior to joining USciences, Dr. Murray was the founding director of the Office of Academic Computing at Thomas Jefferson University where he also taught pharmacology. He continues to teach pharmacokinetics and is a Board member of the Mid-Atlantic Pharmacology Society. Rod is also the Director of Technology at PADLA, the Pennsylvania, Delaware & New Jersey Distance Learning Association.

 Sallie Reissman Dr. Sallie Reissman is the Senior Director of Online Learning and Educational Technology at Wilmington University. Since 2000, she has guided Wilmington University as the institution first implemented online course work, leading to fully online courses in 2007 and then the fully online degree programs that Wilmington University offers today.     She truly loves teaching and started her career in the K-12 school system. In 1999, she received the “First Class” Teacher Award for the State of Delaware. The following year she passed the boards for Nationally Certified Teachers. She has taught online courses at the college level on education technology, as well as international food and culture. Her doctoral degree is from the University of Delaware in Education Leadership with a focus on Curriculum and Technology.

shelmet-headshot Michael Shelmet, Associate Director of Instructional Technology at Drexel University (http://drexel.edu), heads up the Instructional Technology Group (ITG) which provides support and training to faculty, staff and students in relation to the Learning Management System (LMS) and other related technologies. He began working at Drexel in 2003 and since then he has earned a Master of Science in Computer Science and in Software Engineering. When not working Michael enjoys spending time with his family, especially down at the Jersey Shore.

 AdamV - Copy  Adam Voyton has worked at Wilmington University in various roles since 2007. He is currently working in Online Learning and Educational Technology department as an Instructional Technology Project Specialist.  He manages several special projects and is now involved in providing technology training for faculty and staff development. He has a Bachelors of Science degree is in Web Information Systems and is pursuing a Masters degree in Corporate Training Skills.

 RichardWack Richard Wack is from Villanova University, with the University Information Technologies Group (UNIT). I have been with Villanova for twenty-one years serving in a number of roles from a Hardware Specialist to a Help Desk Support Analyst and subsequently a Help Desk Supervisor. I also performed a stint with the Network Group. These experiences have provided a well rounded background experience. I joined the Instructional Technology Group in 2004. In my role as an Instructional Outreach Analyst, I develop and facilitate instructional technology training as well as provide one-on-one course design consultation and support. The Outreach part of my role pertains to raising awareness for our products and services by planning and executing special events throughout the year which typically showcases educators who utilize technology in an innovative manner to support their pedagogical goals and outcomes.This role expands beyond the University through my involvement with the regional Northeast eLearning Consortium which I co-founded. The Group started in 2005 as the Northeast WebCT Users Group. After changes in the commercial Learning Management System market coupled with the availability of new Open Source offerings, we changed the title of the group to make it non-proprietary with a focus on teaching innovations and best practices. I look forward to sharing my experiences and learning from you.
